March 2010

Greetings Hearth and Terroir Faithful.

HAPPY SPRING.
We are busy readying Terroir|Tribeca. Any day now. While waiting, here's Chairman Grieco's Plywood Report.
(And yes, East Village Terroir is now retroactively named Terroir|E.Vil).

The most valuable thing we have been able to do this year is help with the ongoing effort to fundraise for the people of Haiti. Here's an update on the Hearth Haiti Benefit. Here's a direct link to Partners in Health, an organization which has been working in Haiti for over 20 years.

Still worth reading: the sweetest the writeup by Edible Manhattan that we need to share with all of you immediately. Perhaps the best single piece of writing on Hearth & Marco Canora ever. Read it, commit to memory and come by for some gnocchi!

Metromix NY Best Wine Bar Very cool. THANKS New York.

Hearth Gift Certificates & Terroir Gift Certificates are only a click away as is your custom signed copy of Marco's Salt To Taste cookbook.

Chef/Owner/Bon Vivant Marco Canora's cookbook: Salt to Taste is circulating in samizdat form among the nomenklatura of the Terroirist set and is now furtively being disseminated HERE. No more must his words be smuggled -- now they are available for all to read, study, memorize and live by! Check this excerpt OUT. Copies purchased at Hearth, Terroir and on our website will be custom inscribed. Get several dozen copies for yourself and your loved ones.

See Marco cook on the Today Show. NEW: Adventures with Farro. CLASSIC: Chicken Piccata (watch Al Roker's dynamic plating skills).

REVOLUTIONARIES OF WINE TSHIRT SALE. Follow these links to get our Alvaro Palacios, Paul Draper and Manfred Prum shirts for $10.00 each (all others remain $19.00).

A steady stream of updates will be coming your way via Twitter, Facebook and The Hearth/Terroir Calendar as well.

Carbonically Mascerated With Love,

The Terroir Stickermeister
